Why Recall?
If you were one of the 14,303 people who voted for Tara Armstrong, you voted for someone to fight for this riding, not to govern the province.
Opposition MLAs can’t pass laws or control spending directly. But they can advocate, fight, and make noise on behalf of the people who sent them to Victoria. They can stand up in Question Period and demand answers on housing costs and healthcare wait times. They can build relationships across party lines to secure funding for their communities. They can show up.
You voted for her expecting strong conservative representation focused on the issues that matter here at home. You believed her when she said that was what she was going to do. Instead, she has spent her time on divisive political fights, introduced bills that go nowhere, and even left the party she was elected under. When a politician changes course like that, voters deserve the chance to decide again.
And if you were one of the 12,225 who voted for someone else: she was still supposed to represent you too.
If a provincial election is called before we submit our petition results, we will suspend the recall campaign.

Meanwhile, Back in the Riding
While Tara Armstrong has been busy with her personal agenda, the people of Kelowna–Lake Country–Coldstream have been living with this:
Housing: The average home in Kelowna costs $1,076,000. The median family income here is $120,000. Renting is not more affordable either with average rents over $1,900 a month for a one-bedroom. [Sources: Castanet Royal LePage]
Healthcare: In 2025, Kelowna General Hospital’s pediatric ward closed for six weeks due to a chronic doctor shortage. The maternity ward warned it was on the verge of collapse. A neurologist shortage at KGH left patients without reliable access to specialist care. [Sources: CBC News CBC News]
Wildfire Risk: The Okanagan remains one of the highest wildfire risk regions in Canada. This riding has had no one in Victoria fighting for it.This is not a provincial problem happening somewhere else. This is here. This is our home. She campaigned on fixing it. Instead she voted against it, and walked out rather than vote at all.
